DGCA Computer Number
The DGCA Computer Number, also known as the DGCA File Number or Computer Number, is a unique identification code assigned by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) in India to individuals, aircraft, or specific documents related to civil aviation.
This alphanumeric code serves as a reference or identifier within the DGCA’s systems and records. It helps in tracking and managing various aspects of aviation, including licenses, certifications, aircraft registrations, and other related documentation. The DGCA Computer Number plays a crucial role in maintaining accurate and organized records within the aviation regulatory framework in India.
Hardware / Software Requirement
The minimum system requirements for accessing the Web Based Software Application for FLIGHT CREW Licence at http://www.pariksha.dgca.gov.in/home website are
- Google Chrome version 12 and above.
- Internet Explorer version 12 and above.
- Mozilla Firefox.
- Internet Connection.
Application Requirements
Individual E-mail ID and Mobile No of the candidate is essential. All information such as Computer Number, Roll Number, Exam Schedules, and Application Status will be sent to the candidate’s email only.
- One e-mail ID = one candidate only.
- Login ID & Password are unique; applicant is responsible for security.
- Password Policy: Minimum 8 characters, 1 uppercase, 1 lowercase, 1 special character, 1 number.
Specification of Images
- Photo: 45mm × 35mm, white background, MATT finish.
- Face size: 35mm × 25mm (~70% of photo).
- Photo ≤ 70KB, Signature ≤ 20KB.
- Formats accepted: JPG / JPEG only.
Name
Name must match 10th Std Mark Sheet / Matriculation certificate. For changed names, provide gazette notification / amended mark sheet / recent passport.
Date of Birth Certificate
10th Std Certificate & Mark Sheet or Birth Certificate (Municipal Corporation / Committee) is acceptable proof of age.
Educational Qualification
- 10th Std Certificate & Mark List (PPL, CPL, ATPL, FDEG, FE, FN).
- 10+2 with Physics & Mathematics (for CPL, ATPL, FDEG, FE, FN).
- If using Rule 47A (before 1 Jan 1994), submit attested logbook pages showing first flight date.

- Aadhaar / Voter ID

Category-wise Requirements
- PPL / CPL: Online printout + 10th / 10+2 certificate. PPL needs only 10th std.
- ATPL: Online printout + 10+2 + Indian CPL or 500 Hrs flying (200 Hrs PIC for Defence).
- Foreign License Conversion: Copy of foreign license (ICAO state) + online printout.
- FN / FDEG / FE: Online printout + 10+2 certificate + training completion certificate (if applicable).
- FATA: DGCA FATA Authorization Letter + Passport + Visa + License details (education not required).
Final Note
Hard copy of the application with self-attested enclosures must reach CEO within 10 days of online submission.
