At X Aviate International Aerospace, our commitment to shaping the future of aviation extends far beyond the cockpit and the simulator. We believe in actively engaging with young minds, sparking curiosity, and building the foundation for the next generation of aviators across India. Recently, our team had the distinct privilege of participating in a momentous national celebration, reinforcing our dedication to leadership, mentorship, and community engagement in Chennai.
Celebrating the 77th Republic Day with Swamy’s School
Marking the 77th Republic Day of India, our Chief of Training, Capt. Vivek Kandasamy (@vivek_fly), was invited as the esteemed Chief Guest at Swamy’s School. Capt. Vivek brings a wealth of experience to X Aviate International Aerospace as an accomplished Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (A.M.E.) and an experienced pilot. His dual expertise in engineering and flight operations makes him a true role model for students aspiring to build dynamic careers in the aerospace sector.
The event commenced with a solemn and proud flag-hoisting ceremony, setting a tone of deep patriotism and national pride. Students, faculty, and guests gathered to honor the constitution and reflect on the responsibilities of citizenship. As a premier institution for pilot training programs and aviation courses, X Aviate International Aerospace takes immense pride in participating in events that instill strong character, discipline, and dedication in young learners—qualities that are absolutely vital for any professional aviator.
Capt. Vivek Kandasamy Shares His Inspiring Aviation Journey
Following the formal ceremonies, Capt. Vivek addressed the eager students, faculty, and gathered parents. Drawing from his extensive professional background in aviation, he shared insights into his personal journey from an ambitious aviation enthusiast to an accomplished pilot and Chief of Training.
He emphasized that a successful career in aviation requires more than just technical proficiency; it demands resilience, continuous learning, and unwavering integrity. Capt. Vivek encouraged the students to “reach for the skies while staying grounded in their values.” This powerful message resonated deeply with the audience, many of whom are currently navigating their own career choices and looking toward high-flying professions in aviation and aerospace.
Recognizing Excellence and Achievement
The Republic Day celebration also featured the proud distribution of academic and extracurricular awards to deserving students. Capt. Vivek personally presented honors to high-achieving individuals, acknowledging their hard work and dedication. Recognizing excellence at a young age builds the confidence needed to tackle rigorous professional milestones later in life—such as obtaining a Commercial Pilot License (CPL), mastering advanced simulator training, or pursuing specialized roles in aviation engineering.
